For today’s topic I am listing some book cover I trends I notice from books. I don’t really have a preference with covers and there aren’t really covers I dislike. I usually look at the genre more rather than the cover, but the cover definitely influence which book I will read first. I tweaked the topic a bit, and hope everyone likes it. 🙂
Here it goes:
1. The ‘HOT’ people
See how beautiful these people are? Especially that guy from Origin? I haven’t read the book yet, but if I saw that guy approaching me in that same look. Oh my.
2. The Silhouette
Honestly, I only understood the cover of The Sea of Tranquility after reading the book. You should read it too, to know why. 😛
3. The Legs
Yes, leg-spiration. lol
4. The Half Face or No Face at All
No Face at All or Headless
This is actually quite practical. No need for a full face make up. Right? I should have looked for “Just Heads”, no need for clothes lol And the mystery, are they smiling? Fighting? Sad? Or just headless/body-less.
5. The We-Are-Each-Others-Source-Of-Air
ERRRKAY. Everyone knows this. *blushes*
6. The Turn Around
*insert Total Eclipse of the Heart song here* Turn aroooound…
7. The Movie/TV Tie Ins *insert covers here
This is like a festival of yumminess and adorbs. Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Ansel Elgort, Bradley Cooper, and CHANNING TATUM. O.O
8. The Hair *insert covers here*Panic, Uninvited, Such A Rush
I like hair. Long, poofy, just woke up, messy hair. Okay, I sound creepy now.
9. The Holding Hands
I find this really sweet and could serve as a prenuptial photo inspiration. Interlocking fingers has this feeling of security that even if you’re not hugging, you know the other person’s still there, holding your hand. Awww.
10. The Handwriting
This is my favorite. Simple, catchy, and easy to find in bookstores. :p
