I’ve always been a hoarder. I like hoarding make-up, toiletries, snacks, school supplies, BOOKS, etc., in short EVERYTHING! I feel anxious when I see my stocks about to run out, and I don’t like going to the story every now and then because that’s just another wasted time I could’ve spent doing work, or watching dramas , or reading. This is also why I have a lot of unused or uneaten things in my house, and of course UNREAD BOOKS. Here I list my top ten books I bought or listed on my TBR way before I started blogging which also means books that have been with me for more than 3 years now. Oh my.
1) Confessions of a Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella
I think I started buying this series back when I was still in highschool and you know me and my series, I don’t like them incomplete, that’s why this series has been on my shelf waaaaaay before I even owned a bookshelf. Very ancient.
2) Fallen series by Lauren Kate
The first book in this series was given to me by my sister-in-law because I saw this in her bookshelf while I was babysitting my nephews and asked her if I could borrow this. She gave it to me instead. I remember reading the first chapter when I got home that day. Now I don’t remember why I never continued.
3) The Premonition series by Amy Bar tol
Now this I remember reading but not finishing the series because I wanted to rest for a bit before finishing the whole thing, which I learned after two years was a bad idea. Unfortunately, I don’t remember much of this series anymore which means I have to reread the first 2 or 3 books , I think.
4) The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
I’ve only read until City of Glass and then put this series on hold because, again, I wanted to rest before continuing. Bad, bad idea.
5) The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
I was supposed to read this after finishing the Mortal Instruments, but you already know what happened.
6)Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick
I bought this entire series because I heard she was coming to our country. Sadly, I never made it to her signing, hence, never reading the books. In fact, they’re still neatly wrapped in plastic.
7) Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
There was this time in my bookworm life where I only read contemporary and chick lit books because they make my life happier and cheesier and more pleasant, and that was the time I bought this book, and Eleanor and Park. Its still there on my shelf, tightly wrapped in plastic. Never knowing when I’ll pick them up haha
8) Just One Day by Gayle Forman
My blogger friend, Dre, strongly recommended this to me when we first met at a book signing. I bought the books and I think I was about to pick them up after loving Gayle Forman’s Where She Went, but because of #somuchfeels I forgot about them.
9) Maybe, Someday by Colleen Hoover
I loved Slammed so so much it made me come back for more contemporary books for months. And at that time this was CH’s newly released or to release book which made me very excited. But I got discouraged by bad reviews and people saying there was cheating in here that changed my mind. I think I’m still going to read this, but I don’t know when.
10) Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Which of these books or series should I pick up asap?
